Although the eclipse has come and gone, a sure sign of spring is the annual Australian Wine Society Steak & Frites dinner.
Regardless of what the sun is doing, on May 2nd the atmosphere at the National Yacht Club will be bright and tasty. The night belongs to the Australian Wine Society of Toronto and our inner carnivores. Join us for our annual Steak & Frites event at one of AWS's new favourite venues - NYC on the lake. Our cellar master - Joe Gentile is providing us with a variety of wines to same, all complementary to the meal we will enjoy.
The evening will begin with a casual welcoming glass of wine, followed the dinner seating at 7:15 p.m..
Cost will be $120 for AWS members, $120 for NYC members, $127.50 for guests of members (AWS and NYC) and $130 for non-member. We are also adding a non-alcoholic option for those guests who would like to attend but don't drink wine.

- Caesar Salad - Crisp romaine, pancetta, parmesan, croutons, horseradish-olive Caesar dressing
- Warm Duck confit - Parsnip puree, spring asparagus, brie croquette, raspberry glaze
Main Course (choice of one)
- Certified Angus Beef 10 oz New York strip loin & frites - Grilled tomato, Portobello mushroom, peppercorn cream. Flame grilled to order.
- Vegetarian option - Cauliflower Steak Frites, Portobello with edamame hummus, roast tomato
Dessert Course (choice of one)
- Toffee Apple Cheesecake - Fresh cream and berries
- Classic Crème Brule - Hazelnut Madaleine
