OUR TEAM:

Heidi C is the Head of Makeup Artistry at The Cut Design Academy, bringing over a decade of experience in Vancouver's beauty industry. Transitioning from a flight attendant to a makeup and hair artist in 2010, her journey has seen her excel in various sectors, from bridal to commercial work. With a portfolio featuring hundreds of weddings and over three dozen publications, Heidi is also agency represented. She has trained with prestigious brands, including a French luxury label, and currently serves as a studio makeup artist.

Keely Mahon, a Senior Makeup and Hair Instructor, boasts a rich history as a freelance makeup artist and hairstylist in Vancouver since the early 2000s. With a diverse portfolio spanning television/film, fashion, bridal, photography, and corporate sectors, she's had the privilege of working with actors, models, hosts, and brides. Keely's passion for her craft is evident in her dedication to continuous learning, mentoring budding artists, and ensuring every client looks and feels their best.

Jessica Lockert, Makeup Artistry Instructor, brings a decade of industry experience, starting in 2011 and transitioning to educating in 2017. With a passion for enhancing natural beauty and mentoring emerging artists, Jessica has worked on various platforms, including fashion shows, film sets, and with celebrity clients. Notable projects include collaborations with The LPGA Tour, The BC Nurses Union, and Napolean Perdis Cosmetics. Jessica's work has been featured in over 100 magazines globally. She is thrilled to join The Cut Academy as an instructor.
