The Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) Nova Scotia program hosts annual Fall workshops and bi-annual Winter workshops aimed at women 18 years and older to learn outdoor skills, usually associated with hunting and fishing, and other outdoor recreational activities.  All classes are introductory, for people who have little or no experience.  Sign up for something new to you!

All class equipment is provided, unless indicated otherwise in class description.  Come and embrace outdoor fun.

This workshop is for you if:

  • You have never tried these activities but have hoped for an opportunity to learn;

  • You are a beginner who hopes to improve your skills;

  • You know how to do some of these activities, but would like to try some new ones; or

  • You are just looking for the camaraderie of like-minded women in the outdoors.
