Fay Yen, MSc., BCBA (She/Her) (FACILITATOR FOR THIS WORKSHOP!)

I entered the field of ABA as a behaviour interventionist working with autistic children in 2002. In 2013, I obtained a Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) from St. Cloud State University and became a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). Currently., I am a Category A Registered Autism Service Provider (RASP) of British Columbia, Canada. I provide behaviour intervention services as a behaviour consultant serving families using home-based early interventions. In the home-based ABA intervention, parents are managers of the service provider team, and my job is to customize individualized learning plans for the child, training the behaviour interventionists and supporting the caregivers through this journey. I also host ABA TO GO Podcast and YouTube channel to share ABA knowledges and strategies to caregivers and teachers. I believe that altogether including service providers and caregivers, we can help our children reach their highest potential. I would love to share with everyone how we can teach effectively in a fun and motivating environment from the place of caring.
