Our history

Do you know the Compagnie franche de la Marine? ...and the 78th Frasers Highlanders?

Did you know that it is students who, since the beginning of the 1960's, have been reviving their history?

Did you know that this program was initiated by David M. Stewart?

Since 1963, more than 1000 students have had the opportunity to live a unique and defining summer work experience for many of them.

In 2014, the Anciennes Troupes militaires de Montréal took over to perpetuate David M. Stewart's vision and continue to use students to run historical workshops and drill demonstrations in Old Montreal during the summer.

Help us keep this unique cultural and historical heritage program alive in Montréal.

A silent auction and a live auction will be held during this event.

Entertainment will take place during the evening as well as a draw for a door prize.

An income tax receipt will be issued.
