Come down to the Gibson's Arts Building for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn the art of block printing and indigo over-dye techniques. Get creative and make your own unique design on fabric! Take home new skills, your lino block, and an organic cotton bandana that will be both printed and dyed with the natural plant dye indigo. This workshop is perfect for beginners (10 years old and up) and seasoned crafters alike. Don't miss out on this fun and creative experience!
Note based on some questions that have come up: This is a two day workshop. In the first day, we will carve and I am hoping everyone can print too. The second day will be to finish carving, printing and then we will dye with indigo. If you can only come for one day, you might only be able to do one part of the process.
