Want to feel an inner expansion, and get boosted for an amazing and effective week, then this crispy Monday breathwork and meditation workshop is for you.

We will practice a series of breathing and meditation exercises that you can take advantage of and practice daily to feel both sharp-minded, energized, as well as calm, centred and stress-free!

Science is recognizing that proper breathing is essential for health. Targeted breathing exercises can actually not only improve our overall health, but also increase our ability to do daily tasks and activities.

Among the many health benefits of breathwork are that it:

1. Revitalizes the body. 2. Enhances mental and brain function.3. Cleanse the lungs4. Provides calmness and soothes the nervous system5. Reduces cortisol – the “stress” hormone.6. Supports the immune system.7. Increases optimism and releases negative thoughts.8. Relieves anxiety and depression.9. Helps in processing emotions and heals trauma. 10. Develops or increase self-awareness

We will practice strong, deep, breathing techniques that activate the sympathetic nervous system. They are ideal for resetting and unblocking the mind, nervous system and emotional systems. And, we will also experience slow, calm & gentle breathing techniques that activate the parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest); ideal for deep relaxation, healing, with meditation. You will notice that the meditation exercises will come with such ease due to the initial breathwork exercises.

Please take precautions -- and contact me if you are unsure--when doing intense breathing techniques or only do them gently if you suffer from:

• Serious heart problems

• Epileptic attacks

• Serious HBP

• Recent surgery on the torso

• Recent brain surgery

• Suffering from psychosis or recent trauma

• When pregnant for longer than 3 months
