Bridging the Gap is a project funded by the Ontario Seniors Community Grant, that connects skilled older adults to youth learners.
The "Power Hour with Professionals" event is geared to high school aged youth who are curious about how established professionals pursued their careers. Youth learners will connect with older adult professionals (e.g. physicians, pharmacists, teachers) to discuss how they achieved their success, information about their involvement in the Brantford community, and advice for youth who are interested in following similar trajectories. Our older adult volunteers are thrilled to share their insight with young learners, and this event is bound to be an informative, and exciting opportunity.
