With over a decade in the beverage and hospitality industry, your host Tristan has studied fermentation as professional brewer, and cider- and winemaker. He received his WSET Diploma in 2016. Over four years behind the bar in Union 613’s Speakeasy, he later co-founded Jabberwocky, one of Ottawa’s most exciting cocktail bars. When he’s not making drinks, he’s writing about them for various publications.
Tristan will take us through how to build the most comprehensive bar at home highlighting the right tools and the variations of serving-ware. Of course no class would be complete without some cocktails for consumption, expertly made by Tristan himself.
Along with discussing and dissecting what makes the perfect bar, Tristan will also be showing how to mix the perfect stirred cocktail, the perfect straight up cocktail and the perfect shaken cocktail.
