Carnaval del Sol hits its 16th anniversary this 2024, and the celebration will be E P I C 🎉
On our 16th anniversary, we would like to celebrate the presence of Latin Americans in Canada, connecting cultures in Harmony.
🌼 Our artistic vision for 2024 is a vision of unity, diversity, fellowship, and hope through the colors, sounds, and textures of the beautifully diverse countries that make up Latin America while reflecting the unlimited potential created through the mingling of cultures in Canada.
This year, the different plazas will honor a different Latin American country and the connection between its indigenous people and the First Nations in Canada. In this way, the attendees can enjoy music, dance, heritage, and gastronomy represented by different countries.

🚀 Our non-profit priority is to share Vancouver's vibrant Latin American culture. So if you can't afford this ticket, we want you to be part of Carnaval del Sol too. Therefore, the first 300 people who arrive between 12 and 1 pm at the festival (Saturday and Sunday) will have a free one-day general admission ticket. Registration at the doors will be requested. If you arrive at this time and already have your ticket, it will not be refunded.
