About this event

Tour the Castle at your own leisure and enjoy the grand Victorian mansion. Castle Kilbride is best known for the outstanding wall and ceiling murals located throughout the home. They are created in the Trompe L'oeil style - a French term for to fool the eye or trickery of the eye. Guests are encouraged to stand and stare until the paintings look 3D. These painting are deemed to be of National Significance. Admission includes the Castle's special 2024 exhibit "Fabled" co-curated by the Stratford Festival Archives.
