CCAH Steelpan Description

The steelpan program is cross-generational which invites both youth and seniors to learn the art of steelpan. Improve concentration and memory while socializing and having fun! Class are 1 hour for 9 sessions on Sundays. Class times are 1:00-2:00 pm OR 2:00-3:00 pm. Class is ideal for ages 8 years+.

9 classes for $45. Payment can be made at the first class by cash or credit card.

  • May 19 – NO CLASSES; Victoria Day weekend

  • SATURDAY, JUNE 8 1:00 & 2:00 pm. This is an extra day for practice that is outside the typical schedule.
  • June 9 – Spring Concert – Black Box Theatre (1:30-3:00 pm)

CCAH Parang Description

Parang is a popular folk music which originated in Trinidad and Tobago and is practiced throughout the Caribbean. Our classes give participants the opportunity to learn to play the ukulele, cuatro, guitar or selection of percussion instruments. Classes are 2 hours for 6 sessions on Sundays. Class times are 1:00-3:00 pm. Class is ideal for ages 15 years+.

6 classes for $50. Payment can be made at the first class by cash or credit card.
