Event description

Description

The decent work approach presents an opportunity for the nonprofit sector to act as a champion of working
conditions and social policies that ensure supportive work environments for their organizations. With healthier,
happier, and better-supported workers, organizations can better meet their mission and better deliver their
programs and services.

Join the United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin, the Guelph & Wellington Task Force for Poverty Elimination, and PIN, The People and Information Network to learn more about ONN’s decent work projects and explore practical ways organizations can incorporate decent work into their operations and collaborate to build decent work within and beyond the nonprofit sector.

Workshop outcomes:

  • Understand the importance and relevance of decent work

  • Identify examples of decent work in a nonprofit setting

  • Discuss and explore some practical ways we can collaborate and build decent work
