The BC Women's Business Network is a meeting of women who share, encourage, and learn. If you are a woman in business or someone who supports women in business, this meeting is for you. Whether you have a current business or are interested in learning more or simply love to spend an evening with some amazing other women, we would love to have you join us.
BCWBN encourages working together and building relationships rather than competition. We can all learn and grow from each other as well as support each other. There will only be one woman from each business so you will not have a competing rep at any meeting.
A typical meeting starts with everyone arriving and greeting each other. Some of our meetings may have a "market" space so that everyone is welcome to bring products and or samples. Everyone will order and pay for their own meals and beverages.
We will share some training, then take some time to share about our businesses, and what/why/how we work them. After everyone has shared we can offer testimonies for each other, and ask questions, share business cards and brochures. We then take time to go to the "market" if there is one and share a bit more about specific items if anyone has any more questions. The goal is to learn what we can so we are able to refer to our network if possible. We have such a lot of fun, as it is totally casual and no pressure at all.
