Invitation: Strategic Planning Patient Engagement Session with CIHR’s Institute of Health Services and Policy Research in partnership with the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research and the British Columbia Academic Health Science Network
The CIHR Institute of Health Services and Policy Research, in partnership with the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research and the British Columbia Academic Health Science Network, invite you to engage on future directions and priorities for health services and policy research in Canada.
The CIHR Institute of Health Services and Policy Research (CIHR-IHSPR) is developing its next five-year strategic plan. A key component of our process is organizing a series of engagement opportunities as part of our community stakeholder engagement plan to understand the current needs, gaps, and opportunities for health services and policy research. The goal of the patient engagement opportunities is to help identify, from the patient perspective, the strategic directions and research priorities that will support the health services and policy research community to tackle the most serious challenges facing our health care system.
The patient community is a key CIHR-IHSPR stakeholder, and we would like to invite you to join us for a one-hour information session where patient partners can learn more about CIHR-IHSPR. This session will be co-led by Dr. Rick Glazier, Scientific Director of CIHR-IHSPR and patient partner, Lisa Ridgway.
This registration is for in-person attendance. Please note that there is a 15 person maximum and deadline to register is February 28.
We look forward to engaging with you.
Please contact Johanne Richard (jrichard.ihspr@ices.on.ca) at CIHR-IHSPR with any questions.
