Durham Region Association of REALTORS® has partnered with PGL Environmental Consultants to provide an informative meeting discussing residential and commercial environmental assessments - what to look for and when to find help. Kim Worboy, P.Eng., dives into residential Phase 1s including well water testing, asbestos contractors, tank/contamination concerns, and more - before you sell so it doesn't scare off purchasers. This eye-opening presentation will explore successful and scary stories!

Topics of discussion will include:

• Residential deals: when to care about environmental, what to look for, and when to find help.
• Examples for residential and commercial environmental assessments including fuel oil tanks, drycleaner, gas station next door, asbestos, mold, drinking water concerns, and more.
• Commercial deals: does your site have to be cleaned to sell? Pros and cons of Phase 1s and Phase 2s, and how they work.
