It's that time of year again!
Communication Access to Justice (CAJust) is offering Communication Intermediary (CI) training to Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in Canada with two or more years of clinical experience. The event is Free and successful completion of the training allows participants to be listed on CAJust’s national CI registry. Non-SLPs and new graduates who are interested in the training can also register, but will not be eligible to be listed on the CI registry after completion.
During the training Caitlin Buchel, Executive Director of CAJust, will:

- Outline the role of a CI;
- Provide CI practice principles and guidelines;
- Familiarize participants with the criminal justice system in Canada; and
- Review recent court decisions that impact CI practice.
If you are eager to become a CI, have taken CI training in the past but would like a refresher, or are just interested in knowing more about CIs, please join us.
