About this event
Join us for our monthly Sunday Service at onepeopleto.
Many of us have grown up in a tradition where gathering for spiritual growth was a regular practice. Congregating at church, temple, masjid, synagogue, etc. we intended our attendance to aid us in becoming well and good people.
Unfortunately, due to politics, colonization, and power dynamics, congregating in said spaces has caused inadvertent harm as well. However, in a time of intense global pain, what we need is community healing. Healing in silos can only keep us safe in isolation.
Let's explore how we can practice communal healing while extracting the harm caused in current traditional community healing spaces. Our organizers will mindfully gather and facilitate healing practices that have come from our ancestors, and create space for exploration and discussion about how we can strengthen our spiritual selves.
Our objective is to create a community healing experience while being mindful of minimizing harm that religious community healing spaces have tended to do. To explore spirituality without hierarchical structure or marginalization.
At onepeopleto, we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels accepted and valued. Our dedicated team is here to ensure you have a memorable experience, so come as you are and prepare to be inspired.
This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to come together and connect with our community on the last Sunday of the month at onepeopleto. We can't wait to see you there.
