The Showcase Showdown is a demo day designed to celebrate the ideas and creations of Mount Royal University's Computer Information System Students and to inspire Calgary's emerging technical talent; our economy's future makers and creators.

For the fifth year in a row, The Showcase Showdown will connect Mount Royal Computing students with Calgary's most innovative tech companies and share and celebrate the hard work students have invested into innovative projects. Whether students have developed an app, a game, a robot, or perhaps something entirely different, this event is a fun way to show the community what they are up to!

What Is It?

Students will have five minutes to discuss their project, it’s features, value, and users, followed by a five minute question period. Projects are not required to be a working prototype. Judging criteria is simple. Who can excite the judges and the audience the most with their creation!
