Starting with short periods of guided meditation to relax and settle our minds, Heather Midori Yamada with then guide participants through two days of creative discovery. You will learn new brush techniques and mark-making methods, colour-mixing combinations in sumi, watercolour, and some acrylics. Final projects will include collage, patterning and layering washi, including an introduction to Heritage Washi.
All tools and materials will be provided.
The workshop will run from 10am to 4pm Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April with a 30 minute break for lunch both days. Please bring your lunch. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to move.
