Have you ever encountered a horse on the trail and didn’t know what to do?
Cowichan District Riding Club and Back Country Horsemen Central Vancouver Island Chapter in partnership with Horse Council of BC would like to invite the community to volunteer or pop by the Cowichan Exhibition Park, Sunday, June 9 between 9am and 5pm for our horse habituation clinics!
Do you hike, dog walk, mountain bike, ATV or motorbike? We are looking for volunteers for one hour blocks to take part in our horse habituation clinics taking place between 9:00am and 5:00pm on Sunday, June 9. Learn about how to interact safely with horses on the trail and we appreciate you letting our horses learn about you!
There will be an evening presentation for the event participants and volunteers and it will take place at the Cowichan Community Centre, Saturday, June 8 at 7:30pm (2687 James St, Duncan, Koksilah Room).
