Loyalist College and Bay of Quinte Craft invite you to attend a hands-on workshop supporting local brewers' pursuit of crafting consistent, great tasting beer!

8:30 am: Registration and a Light Breakfast

9 am: Morning Information Session
Key Quality Measurements for Brewers
Presented by Anton Paar

10:30 am: Hands-on Laboratory Session at Loyalist College
Using advanced instrumentation, you will learn how to determine alcohol content, extract, degree Plato and other multiple parameters including CO2 content, O2, turbidity, pH, and colour of packaged beer in minutes.

12 pm: Lunch at Signal Brewery

1 pm: Afternoon Session at Signal Brewery

Using Loyalist College's portable systems, you will have the opportunity to monitor the fermentation process through determination of the extract content, degree Plato and CO2/O2 measurements of packaged beer and tank beer within minutes.

Your ticket does not include any alcoholic beverages. Participants will be responsible for their own transportation to Loyalist College and to Signal Brewery.

Due to limited space, this session is available for a maximum of two representatives from each brewery.
