Crocheted Trees in the Landscape with Gwen MacGregor

In this workshop, exhibition artist Gwen MacGregor will provide a hands-on opportunity to make your own crocheted tree and photograph it in situ in the landscape. The evening session will explore crocheting a tree on an armature followed by a Saturday spent refining your tree and photographing your work on the grounds of the Grand Forks Art Gallery. This is a great opportunity to develop both craft and composition skills, learning from a practicing artist. All tree materials will be provided, and everyone will leave with a completed tree. Participants are welcome to bring their own camera or smartphone for the photography session.
