Definition of a Leader - Anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes and has the courage to develop that potential.
Leadership is not about titles or the corner office. It’s about the willingness to step up, put yourself out there, and lean into courage. The world is desperate for braver leaders. It’s time for all of us to step up.

Are YOU interested? Join your likeminded fellow HEOT members in our "Dare to Lead", by Brene Brown - Book Club. We will be meeting on April 21st to discuss our thoughts about this book, but first - you need to get your hands on this book! A beautiful hardcover copy is yours for just $20 and that amount is refundable when you attend the Book Club workshop session on April 21st at 4:30 p.m until 6:30 p.m.

We will be meeting at the HEOT office and dinner will be served, as well. To receive your copy of the book, I will need to get your $20 first. Your options are as follows:

1. Attend the Festive Open House on December 12th at the HEOT office.

2. Come by the HEOT office during office hours (kindly email when you'd like to come by so that we can ensure that someone is in the office to help you!)

3. Send me the cash or a cheque (payable to HEOT) via the courier and I will send your book to you via the courier.

Please be aware that enrollment is limited, by registering, you are making a commitment to attend this event.

If you need to cancel, please notify me at kebaloplatam@hdsb.ca, a minimum of 48 hours before the event, so that someone on the waitlist has a chance to participate.

Though there is no cost to the event, being a no show will result in having to miss out on the next HEOT event in which you wish to participate.
