National Day of Remembrance Memorial Ceremony

Each December 6th, Durham College commemorates the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, to pay tribute to the victims of the tragic killing of 14 women at École Polytechnique in 1989. Join us as we honor those we have lost to gender-based violence and reflect on renewing our commitment to take action on ending gender-based violence in all its forms. A keynote discussion, followed by performances by R.A.W. and Cassandra Myers will be held to commemorate the day.
