Event description
Conference on defence procurement during Canada's new government.

About this Event

In the last few days, both the Conservative Party and the Liberal Party of Canada have proposed significant changes to Canada's defence procurement system, which is still working on the hundreds of projects approved with Strong, Secure, Engaged. These proposals could have profound effects on the implementation of Canada's defence program moving forward.

On November 20th, the Canadian Global Affairs Institute will host on a one-day conference to discuss the procurement changes proposed by Canada's new government, provide an update on the implementation of defence projects, re-examine the ITB/VP policy, and examine ways of introducing greater agility into Canada’s procurement system.
