This two-part series offers care partners of persons living with dementia an opportunity to explore an overview of the dementia journey in an interactive and supportive atmosphere. Each live session features a workbook and helpful follow-up resources to support all learning types.

Week 1: What is Dementia? & Adapting to Brain Changes (June 14th)

First in our two-part series, this first-half of this session will provide an overview of symptoms, responding to a diagnosis, treatment and being a care partner. The second-half explores changes in the brain, adapting to change and maximizing brain health.

Week 2: Planning Ahead & Building a Circle of Support (June 21st)

Second in our two-part series, the first-half of the session will talk about common risks people living with dementia may face and how to manage these by planning ahead. We will talk about making legal and financial plans. the second-half will help care partners learn how to recognize stress, manage stress and build a circle of support.
