Kitchens are the heart of a childcare centre and food fuels children’s bodies, souls and minds. Cooks are a valued and important member of an early learning and childcare community. You support children’s overall development and the ability to learn through nutrition. We are calling all cooks to join us for this hybrid style, Designed for you Nutrition for Cooks in Early Learning and Child Care, four-part learning series. This professional learning series will inspire cooks to think creatively in the kitchen and encourage culture and diversity through flavour. You’ll learn how to create healthy meals that children will love to eat, plan budget friendly menus, unpack common dietary considerations and discover the potential you have in supporting children in developing healthy and nutritious habits that will last them a lifetime.
