About this event

This one-day event will bring together a diverse range of panelists and speakers from organizations working with older adults in the Hamilton area. The goal of the summit is to convene experts and practitioners from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives to exchange ideas on how to support the needs of our aging population.

Confirmed Speakers: 

  • Opening Keynote by Dr. James Gillett, Associate Professor in Health, Aging and Society, McMaster University
  • Discussion Panel featuring speakers from the Hamilton Seniors Isolation Project Extension, School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University, Hamilton Public Library and Burlington Public Library 
  • Presentation from Anne Swift, First Link Coordinator, Alzheimer Society
  • Closing Keynote by Christina Walton, Bereavement Counselor and Community Partner, 100% Certainty Project
