Building off the skills discussed in healthy friendships, this program prepares youth for having healthy relationships, understanding consent, coercion, assertive communication, independence, and the balance of power in relationships. We also discuss teen dating violence, the cycle of violence and where to get help. ** This presentation focuses more on the skills of a healthy relationship**

This session is facilitated by the Dragonfly Counselling and Support Centre (DCSC) Outreach & Education who offer information and presentations to individuals, early childhood development programs, schools, home school groups, parent groups, community groups, and organizations.

A session reminder with log-in details will be sent to registrants two days before the workshop. Please check the email you register with or contact Shelley.jackson@portagecollege.ca

Our program offers free workshops, webinars, and information sessions to help people in Alberta understand the law, the legal system, and the resources available to them. Our program aims to support Albertans in their ability to confidently navigate legal systems that may affect their lives. All this is made possible by grant funding from the Alberta Law Foundation.
