Last month's Blues was so good that we've decided to make the last Swing Out of each month into DUSTY BLUES. Also, for December we have a special guest joining us on the mic - GOLDIE! If you were there on Nov 28th you know who I'm talking about. She's fantastic and she'll be singing with us on December 26th.
All styles of dance and partner dance are welcome.
Also you do not have to dance to come out; this Speakeasy is a great place to enjoy something from the bar and watch the band from our Cabaret seating.
The venue can be hard to find - It's in the Artiste Building at 2050 Scotia Street, but you must enter through the glass door by the loading bay at the back of the building. See the pin on our website for the location, and don't give up you will find it!
The Swing Out is a safe and welcoming space for people from all backgrounds including the BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
Consent is always a must on the dancefloor. We respectfully acknowledge that this event is held on the unceded homelands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations.
