The class is held in my studio, room #225 in the cSPACE Marda Loop building. If you haven't been here before, it is quite often described as a hidden gem! "Situated in a re-imagined historic sandstone building and dynamic inner city neighbourhood, this innovative creative hub and coworking space features retail and exhibition galleries, a theatre and an onsite café."
The building is not officially open to the public on Sunday's so you may have to get buzzed into the building. There is an intercom on the north side of the building where the parking lot is located.
A bit about your instructor, my name is Jen, I have been making jewellery for more than a decade, perhaps longer and have been painting and making art of one sort or another my whole life. I received a BFA degree from the Alberta University of the Arts with a major in Ceramics when it was the Alberta College of Art & Design and I previously received my diploma with a major in Sculpture when it was just The Alberta College of Art:) I have taught all sorts of jewellery classes at Suzie Q Beads Buttons & Bijoux and taught mixed media adult extension classes at the art college for a couple of years.
