Frequently asked questions

Is the event accessible?

Yes. We will have accessible parking close to the action. The grounds are grass and dirt but well packed so wheelchairs and strollers can easily get around. Please ask for directions to the accessible parking when you arrive.

Is there food and drink on site?

Yes! we have several food vendors on site for your enjoyment. There is also a Dragon's Head Pub run by the Rotary Club of Edson to help wet your whistle! The licensed area will include the entire food faire area. There will even be a pancake breakfast on Sunday morning from 10-11!

Should I dress up for the Faire?

Please do! There will even be a costume parade and contest with prizes on Saturday. The time for the parade will be announced at the Faire. Vikings, witches, warlocks, pirates, knights, maidens, peasants, monks, and mythical creatures are all welcome!!

What happens if the weather is inclement?

We are fortunate enough to have a large indoor space to move the faire into in case of poor weather. A few of the activities may not be able to move indoors but, rest assured, the majority of the fun and vendors and food will make it all worthwhile!

I heard there is trinket trading. What is that and how can I be involved?

Trinket trading is a great social activity where you bring small, possibly hand-made items to share and trade with other trinket traders. It makes the event even more memorable because you get to meet people and take home special treasures as souvenirs.

Is this event suitable for all ages?

Yes! There are activities for the wee to the wise all weekend long! From live entertainment on stage and off, to storytelling and crafts, to fight a knight and catapults and may pole dance, to food and a pub (and more and more), we've geared the Faire to delight people of all ages and backgrounds.
