A three hour interactive workshop that will give you insight into your own communication style and how it impacts others.

About this event

Learn how to identify others’ communication styles and discover how it impacts you in return. We’ll then take this valuable information and learn how to make changes that will improve the way you communicate and manage conflict.

The skills taught in this remote ZOOM workshop are transferable across many situations and scenarios you’ll encounter in both your work and personal life.

ABOUT YOUR TRAINER:

Lori Frank www.lorifrankmediation.com has worked in and with the non-profit sector for over 30 years. She has had the honor of being invited to the table in family homes, community organizations, Indigenous communities, schools, and government offices.

Organizations look to Lori when they are needing someone to bring a high level of empathy, understanding and a solution focused approach.

It is this experience of working with diverse individuals and groups that Lori brings with her to both mediation and conflict management consulting. She uses an interest-based and solution focused model that assists everyone to move forward from the present and together, design sustainable outcomes.

Lori is a Qualified Mediator and is a member of mediation rosters with Mediate BC and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of BC. She did her mediation training with the Justice Institute of BC.

Originally from Ontario, Lori has lived on Vancouver Island for over 20 years. Lori lives in the Highlands with her husband, two teen boys and their beloved dog, Ginger.
