For the philosophical and personal growth-minded kinkster, this fascinating new workshop with Headmistress Shahrazad will explore BDSM in light of the concepts of ego as a necessary psychological function, death as a metaphor for change and transformation, and ego death as a phase in one’s inner journey where one’s subjective identity is temporarily lost. We will also examine the metaphor of the Hero’s Journey and use it as inspiration to guide our kink explorations towards helping us reach our fullest potential as human (and spiritual) beings.
