Elevate Her is a citywide event that enables young women ages 18 to 30 to better navigate through these years of uncertainty through the guidance and support of older women. It is the passing on of wisdom from life experiences with a vision to see YOU young adults reach higher heights than the previous generation of women before. There will be a panelist of guest presenters focused on a topic, you will be introduced to resources and organizations in the city availble to women along with peer discussion groups to help you be all that you were created to be. Women helping women rise! It’s going to be a fun and purposeful night as we ELEVATE HER!

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
This event is directed at females 18 to 30 however women over 30 are welcome to attend. Depending on the topic it may be fitting for teens ages 16 to 18
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
This location is right beside Chinook LRT. There is also free parking provided at the front and the back of the facility.
Who is funding this event?
Currently we have no sponsors. Any expenses have been covered by Young Women of Power. However this event is made possible by individuals donating their time and resources to see this vision take flight. A huge thank you to Southside Victory for allowing us to use their facility to help empower women. A donation box will be set up on site at registration. Who is The Family of Women?
YWOP has partnered with the Family of Women to host Elevate Her. The Family of Women is a not for profit membership organization that believes that women who are living at their most powerful best create safe, nurturing communities. They offer different levels of membership and participation, trainings, and volunteer opportunities both for the organization and outreach into our communities. They are a group of women who are committed to working together to integrate, practice, and share what we learned about successful relationships with each other to improve the quality of our lives, each others lives, our families and communities.
