Empowering Women Globally through effective Menstrual Health Management

Period poverty and lack of access to information around menstrual health remains a challenge for all women and girls around the world today, from within Canada to around the world. Good Neighbors Canada is actively working on multiple programs to promote gender equity and empower marginalized genders, including supporting with the implementation of menstrual health management (MHM) projects.

Join our virtual seminar on Friday, December 16th, to hear from three special guest speakers in the humanitarian sector whose work is actively contributing towards the fight for true gender equity.

• Elise Sohmbella, OD Director at Good Neighbors Cameroon, to discuss her case study of the Better Life for Girls program, supporting menstrual health education and provision of menstrual materials.
• Richard Luwaga, Operations Department at Good Neighbors Uganda, to discuss their case study of a girls ambassadors and youth education program.
• Dr. Vida Shehada, Professor of International Development Program at Centennial College, to discuss women and human rights.

The series of talks will be followed by an interactive Q&A session.

Tickets are free, but pay-as-you-feel donations are welcomed. 100% of donations will go towards our partnered MHM programs.
