What is your refund policy?

We provide a full refund for cancellations up to 15 days before the event. We provide a 50% refund for cancellations up to 5 days before the event.

Can I bring my baby or child?

Unfortunately, this session is for adults only. Children are welcome in our Plant Identification walks downtown. We also offer a Family Plant Fun workshop at Riverwild Gardens, which is specifically designed for families, with kid-friendly hands-on exercises.

About this event

A special time in the forest for nature lovers who yearn to connect deeper with their environment and explore the medicine and food abundant in the wilderness.

Boreal plants and trees form intricate communities and hold many gifts for us. We will engage our observation skills, our child’s eyes and our heart memory as we head on the trail to meet some of them.

Participants will be guided through a series of meditative exercises to attune more deeply to their environment and get to know the plants around them.

Common plant identification, tools + book recommendations and herbal sample will all be part of this special 3-hour journey.

All activities will be held outdoors.*

*Riverwild Gardens is an off-grid property located at km 22.7 Annie Lake Road in Mount Lorne.
