Classes at the 1909 Culinary Academy combine a hands-on cooking experience with delicious tasting experiences.
Korean food has become so popular that locals and tourists alike describe them as savory, spicy, hearty and nutritious delights that can be enjoyed at any time of the day.
What's on our menu?
Chicken Katsu with Tonkatsu sauce is simple, delicious, and ideal for any weeknight dinner with a Japanese flare. We'll also make two salads that will be perfect for summer entertaining: An Avocado Lettuce salad with Japanese Carrot and Ginger Dressing, as well as an authentic, yet simple Soba Noodle Salad that can be enjoyed warm or chilled.
Our final dish is a vegetarian Ramen complete with house-made Ramen Eggs.
At the end of class, we'll sit down to enjoy the dishes you've made together.
The 1909 Culinary Academy is licenced. We have a drink menu of beer, wine, and assorted cocktails for you to enjoy throughout the event.
Sometimes we have leftovers. Please bring your own reusable containers to help us reduce the use of single use plastics.
