The Otipemisiwak Métis Government’s Environment and Climate Change Department is pleased to announce the second year of Community Bird Walks!

Embark on a beginner-friendly walk and learn how to listen for and spot birds in their environment. You will gain a deeper understanding of the birds around us and what they can teach us.

Event details:

Join us for a three-hour walk as we listen to our local guide share stories and discuss the ecological significance of the birds around us.

Space is limited and offered on a first come, first-served basis. Please register only if you know can attend as space is limited.

These Bird Walks are a family-friendly event and children under 12 years old do not require registration or tickets to join.

Note for Attendees: Please dress for the weather, bring sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle or mug. Extra water will be available.

Is travel a barrier? Citizens of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government may be eligible for travel assistance on a case-by-case basis.
