Expressing Vibrancy - Downtown Sudbury
Join Cobalt Connects, the Downtown Sudbury BIA, and the Greater Sudbury Developmenty Corporation and fellow Sudbury residents to be part of the second phase of the the Expressing Vibrancy process.
This phase of the project is about understanding how you as residents of Sudbury experience specific portions of your downtown. Each session explores a single street for a 1 hour period. During that hour you'll observe how the street is used and then answer a simple questionaire.
We conduct the same process on 5 different streets at 3 different times of the day, and different days of the week to better understand the life of the downtown core. During this process we'll be studying Elgin Street, Larch Street, Elm Street, Cedar Street and Durham Street.
The session dates are listed below, and can be found by clicking the "Select A Date" button in the top right.
Wednesday, August 24 8am, 12 noon, 8pm
Friday, August 26th 8am, 12 noon, 8pm
Saturday, August 27th 8am, 12 noon, 8pm
Each time slot will meet at a great location in downtown Sudbury:
8am Sessions Kuppajo Espresso Bar - St. Andrew's Place, Larch St
12 noon Sessions Fromagerie Elgin - Elgin St. (across from the School of Architecture)
8pm Sessions Laughing Buddha - Elgin St.
We encourage everyone from age 15 and up to participate, and welcome participants from all demographics. to understand the downtown we want to see it from everyone's perspective.
We also encourage participants to attend more than one session so you can complete the process for multiple streets. Groups are always welcome - groups of 10 or more should contact the event team so we can be ready with enough forms and pens.
