Music moves in mysterious ways, and in this programme we will sample some of those fascinating rhythms. From free and flowing to dynamic and driving, this is a concert that will stir the senses. Featuring music by Palestrina, McGlynn, Miškinis, Shaw, Balfour, Gershwin and others, with guest percussionists Alejandro Céspedes and Michelle Colton of Orégano Percussion.

The Annex Singers of Toronto is a vibrant community choir that performs under the dynamic and creative leadership of Artistic Director Maria Case. Now in its forty-fourth season, the choir demonstrates its passion for excellence with a challenging and eclectic repertoire spanning seven centuries. Both the main choir and the Annex Chamber Choir enjoy collaborations with a wide array of guest soloists and ensembles, and have demonstrated their commitment to contemporary music with numerous premieres of Canadian works.
