FASS Camps: Surrey Campus is for incoming (new) students who are registered to enroll in Surrey (FASS One) classes in the upcoming Fall 2024 (September) semester. If you're starting your journey at the Burnaby campus, please register for FASS Camps: Burnaby Campus. You will not be able to attend both camps.
During the camp, you will:
- Explore the many vibrant FASS programs with current FASS student mentors
- Learn how to prepare for and thrive in lectures
- Receive extensivecourse planning (enrollment) support for the fall term with your FASS first-year Academic Advisor Rose Baik.
- Make some new FASS friends and learn from senior students
FASS Camps will provide you with information about program choices in FASS, services and support offered by FASS and SFU as well as practical advice about how to succeed in university. Daily snacks and lunch will be provided!
Please note: FASS Camps is not an overnight event. The start and end time for each day is 9:30am-2:30pm. Limited capacity. $60 attendance fee for the three days.
Meeting location for each day will be determined. Guests will be notified of the itinerary in early June as room bookings are finalized.
Please note that we'll be taking photos or recording videos during FASS Camps. These images will be used by FASS to share updates about this event on our social media channels and to be used in future promotional materials. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please inform one of our staff members or email rbaik@sfu.ca.
