WE'RE BACK! Fast and Female Girls Run on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26, 2024.

Calling all girls aged 5-12! Join us for a morning of girl power! The Fast and Female team is thrilled to be working with Rocky Mountain Soap Co.'s The Women's Soap Run to bring back our annual Girls Run in Canmore, AB. The main event includes 1km or 2.5km run (distance of your choice), Fast and Female swag, the opportunity to connect with our REAL Roles, FUN, and so much more!

RACE DETAILS:

DISTANCES: This year we will offer a 1km course and a 2.5km course! These distances are great for all activity levels while offering a new challenge! The 2.5km course will be great practice for those aiming to run the 5km Women’s Run in the future!

WHEN: Saturday, May 25, from 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM and Sunday, May 26 from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM

WHO: Self-Identified girls, 5-12 year olds

COST:

• Early Bird: January 1, 2024 - January 31 (11:59pm), 2024 - $40
• Standard: February 1, 2024 - April 17 (11:59pm), 2024 - $55
• Last Minute: April 18 - May 18, 2024 - $65

SATURDAY, MAY 25:

• 7:30 AM - Check-in / Registration (30 minutes prior to the event)
• 7:50 AM - Welcome to Fast and Female / Introduce Role Models / Group Photo
• 8:00 AM - Warmup
• 8:15 AM - Girls Run (Distance: 1km or 2.5km)
• 8:45 AM - Inspirational Chat with Fast and Female Role Models
• 9:15 AM - Autographs & Photos
• 9:30 AM - Event Conclusion
• OPTIONAL 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM ADD-ON Program

SUNDAY, MAY 26:

• 8:30 AM - Check-in / Registration (30 minutes prior to the event)
• 8:50 AM - Welcome to Fast and Female / Introduce Role Models/ Group Photo
• 9:00 AM - Warmup
• 9:15 AM - Girls Run (Distance: 1km or 2.5km)

ADD-ON PROGRAM:

Want to keep the fun times rolling after the Girls Run? Join us for our ADD-ON Program, where participants will get to enjoy more physical activities, crafts, mentoriship with our Role Models, lunch and so much more! This program was designed to support the guardians who are participating in the Women’s Soap Run, which happens directly following the Girls Run, however anyone is able to purchase the ADD-ON and stay for more fun! If you are running the WOmen's Soap run, we'll be at the finish line, cheering you on!

Cost:

• Saturday, May 25, 2024: Directly following the Girls Run (9:30 am-12:30 pm) (20 tickets available) - $40 (Lunch included)
• Sunday, May 26, 2024: Directly Following the Girls Run (10:00 am - 12:30 pm) (20 tickets available) - $40 (Lunch included)

Spots are limited to 20 participants per day! Please note that you will be able to pick up your loved one anytime between the time blocks listed above. If you require this ADD-ON program day-of and have not purchased the ticket, the cost will be $50 on-site and based on available spaces. Parents and guardians do not need to participate in the Women's Soap Run for the girl in their life to participate in the ADD-ON program.

JUNIOR ROLE MODEL (Jr. RRM aka LIT) (FREE):

Calling all self-identified girls aged 13-17! We are offering an opportunity to learn and practice leadership skills by supporting the younger girls and getting mentored by the REAL Role Models! Join our youth network, meet new friends and gain new skills you will use for life! Jr. RRMs will receive Fast and Female swag, and additional information about the Fast and Female Youth Network and Youth Advisory Council.

Fast and Female will sign for Community Involvement/Volunteer Hours as requested.
