75 Squadron will participate in a Field Training Exercise (FTX). This is a mandatory for all cadets. Other than having fun doing activities, this FTX allow cadets to learn and practice basic skills when stranded in the wilderness. Such skills include, first aid, building shelters based on situation, strategies to get rescued, and much more.
WHO: All Cadets
DRESS: C5 (FTU) or appropriate clothing for outdoor activity (see attached kit list). Dress for the weather.

Pick up / Drop off: Pierre de Blois High School - 1310 Chapman Mills Dr.
Training Location: Rideau Hill Camp - 2560 Rideau River Rd.

Levels 1 & 3: Departure Sep 29 @1800hrs - Pickup Oct 1 @ 1430hrs
Levels 2 & 4: Departure Sep 29 @ 1900hrs - Pickup Oct 1 @ 1530hrs

FOOD: All meals provided, vegetarian option available. Cadets with dietary restrictions are to complete this form.

MEDICATION: Cadets participating in the FTX that require medication (except for topical preparations, acne medications, lotions, creams, oral contraceptives, etc.) are to have their parent/guardian complete and sign this form. Printed copies of this form will be available at the buses. Cadets with medication will not be allowed to board the bus/participate without the completion of this form.
