Calgary Drop-In Centre’s mission is to prevent homelessness where possible, offer care and shelter when needed, and provide opportunities for people to rehabilitate and rebuild their lives. Located in the heart of downtown Calgary, the DI meets the needs of people who are homeless or at risk, in a respectful, comprehensive and safe way. The facility serves and average of 1000 meals a day, 365 days a year. Our morning at the DI will be spent helping to prepare the day’s lunch time meal service. No experience necessary!

When & Where
This year’s Imperial Calgary United Way campaign runs from October 24 - November 8 2016. The focus is on investing in our community, be it money or time, to improve lives and help those in need.
Our job as leaders in the community is to set the tone, and help everyone understand the need. This is best done through direct exposure to those who need help. Our page for days of caring will identify and help us participate in lending a hand in improving the lives of those in need.
