How do you break the cycle of poverty and create generational change?

Thirty years ago, Food for the Hungry Canada began with a vision to see poverty ended, one community at a time. Now, a generation later, families have left poverty behind, and are flourishing.

Come hear from those who have lived—and are living!—transformation from the roots up.

  • Musu Taylor-Lewis and Ingrid Delgado will passionately share in-person about faith, poverty, and resilience in the face of disasters
  • Video testimonies by girls and families hailing from Rwanda and Cambodia will bring their messages home with personal expressions showing how Canadian-funded work has created future opportunities for their generation
  • Taste authentic samples of flavours from Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Guatemala while mingling with others in the extended FH family
  • Be inspired by the insightful musical talents of Ghanaian-born Jervis Djokoto

Hear stories about the work you are empowering. Discover a new perspective on poverty and experience the impact of generational change made possible by compassionate Canadians like you.

Organized by

Food for the Hungry is a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to ending poverty - one community at a time.

With partners like you, FH walks alongside the most vulnerable communities throughout the developing world as they strive toward sustainability. Recognizing that each community faces unique challenges as well as advantages, FH is committed to an integrated, holistic approach to development including priorities such as agriculture, education, health, and gender equality.

Additionally, FH Canada is answering the call to collaboration, engagement, and education for Canadians seeking to deepen their understanding of the root causes of poverty and what they can do about it.
