Food Charter Community Engagement
Join us in developing Abbotsford's first community-led Food Charter! Get ready to dive into the world of food, community, and engagement and what you believe it takes to create a sustainable and vibrant local food system. This in-person event will take place at the Sports Legcy Center on June 19, 2024 at 1:00-3:00 PM.
At this event, we will explore various aspects of the food system including health, education, economic development and sustainability, environment, culture, and social equity.
We hope to involve community members, growers, businesses, policy makers, and service providers to envision the impacts of each factor. We believe bringing communities together and strengthening the local food system requires collaborative action and hope you will be involved!
