Thinking Pairs

Join a small group of like-minded, warm-hearted thinking peers.

Thinking Pairs is a wonderful opportunity to connect online with others who know how to create a safe, confidential and encouraging space for you to think about whatever matters most to you at this time.

During this online gathering, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the Thinking Environment - to think for yourself, with the promise of no interruption, and to offer your generative attention to help your partner think for themselves.

Enjoy indulging in the Thinking Session with equal, timed turns of 30 minutes each way. Plus an additonal 15 minutes as a small group.

  • Reconnect - to your brilliant mind, to Thinking Environment Alumni, and to your practice
  • Reset - your inner compass, your commitment to independent thinking
  • Regain - agency, confidence, ease, time.

Frequently asked questions

Does it matter if I can't make it for the start?

Yes. I won't be able to let you in after 5 mins past the start time as I am participating in the Thinking Pairs and will be with a partner in a breakout room.

Can I sign up even if I can't stay for the duration?

Please only sign up if you are able to stay for the entire time as we will pair up and go into breakout rooms, with the expectation of having equal turns to think of 30 mins. Thank you.

I've only read one of Nancy Kline's books, I have not attended a course - can I still join?

No, this event is for Alumni only. Please see my other free events for newcomers: 'Listening beyond 11 seconds: Reclaim your superpower' thank you.

Your mind is designed to think for itself. To thrive in any area of your life, including your relationships, you need to be able to think well, as yourself, for yourself.

Most people are not thinking independently, not least because those around them are quick to direct, fix, advise, derail and interrupt.

Don't be like 'most people'. My events are designed for you to:

  • experience what it's like to be in a safe, confidential and encouraging space where you get to decide what you think, feel and want to say.
  • create the conditions so that someone else can think well in your presence
  • learn why independent thinking matters to improve the quality of your relationships and results.
