Free Developmental Screening Clinic - Monarch House Oakville

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Our primary concern is the health and safety of the clients and families who rely on us for treatment and support. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and related guidance on social distancing and other preventative measures, we will be following the recommendation of the Ontario Government and the Ministry of Education and temporarily closing our Ontario clinics. Monarch House is pleased to offer free developmental screening clinics.

This monthly clinic is free of charge, 15-minute service for parents to address any questions and/or concerns regarding their child’s development. The clinic is run by a qualified team of professionals, including;

- Behaviour Analysts

- Speech-Language Pathologists

- Occupational Therapists

who are available to provide brief consultation in the areas of behaviour, speech, language, pre-literacy skills, and motor development.

The results are then discussed with parents and are meant to indicate which areas are following typical development and others which should be monitored more closely or require further assessment. The clinic is open to children birth to six years of age.

PLEASE NOTE: When completing registration, please register for your child (i.e., provide first and last name, age and birthdate of the child). If you do not register and select a preferred day and time for your visit, due to limited capacity, we are unable to guarantee that your child will be screened when you arrive.
